An Australian Communications and Media Authority investigation, arising from complaints received, has found that Heritage Financial Solutions Pty Ltd (“Heritage“) did not adequately supervise the activities of its telemarketers and that calls were made, without checking the numbers against the Do Not Call Register.  Heritage was issued an infringement notice and has paid a $17,000 penalty.
