Baker & McKenzie Appoints New Projects and Infrastructure Partner.

Baker & McKenzie has announced the appointment of its fourth lateral partner in eight months, Martin Irwin. Based in Melbourne, Martin specialises in major projects and infrastructure and acts for institutional investors, borrowers, lenders and other capital providers on a range of infrastructure, project finance and transactional banking matters.

 

“Having advised some of the world’s leading pension funds and banks, Martin brings a depth of experience which particularly compliments Baker & McKenzie’s growing expertise in the pension funds space,” said Baker & McKenzie’s National Managing Partner, Chris Freeland.

 

“Martin also brings to the Firm significant Asia experience, having worked in the Singapore and Hong Kong offices of his previous firms, as well as spending considerable time working in Korea and Cambodia,” Freeland added.
