Hong Kong – Eversheds Announces Partner Promotion.

The Hong Kong office of international law firm Eversheds has announced the appointment of Norman Hui to Partner in its 2012 promotions.
 
Norman specialises in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. He is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England and Wales and New South Wales in Australia, and speaks fluent English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin). Norman recently advised steel manufacturer, Xiwang Special Steel Company Limited, on a USD171 million Hong Kong IPO listing.
 
Overall, Eversheds announced 22 promotions to the firm’s partnership across 8 countries. This year’s announcement sees 41% of the new partnerships going to women and 50% of the promotions based outside the UK. Countries that have seen partner promotions include China, Germany, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and United Kingdom.
