Shearman & Sterling was named as “Asia Pacific M&A Law Firm of the Year” by the Asia Pacific M&A Atlas Awards held in Hong Kong in recognition of outstanding performance in the depth of expertise, excellence in client service, firm leadership and talents of the team in the region.
The firm also won “Deal of the Year (Large)”, acting for Premium Lead Company Limited and New Era Investment in the privatization of Shanda Interactive Entertainment and “Cross Border Deal of the Year (Middle Markets)”, advising Sany Heavy Industry in its acquisition of Putzmeister Holding, together with CITIC Private Equity Advisors.
