Bird & Bird Promotes New Partners In Asia.

Bird & Bird has announced the appointment of two new partners from its offices and practices in Asia.

The new partners are:

Ted Chwu, from the Hong Kong office: Ted focuses on complex cross-border IP litigation and has managed teams of lawyers in high value patent infringement and invalidation actions. He also advises on personal data protection and anti-competition issues. 

Guohua Zhang, based in the Shanghai office: Guohua specialises in foreign direct investment, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and general corporate and commercial advice in China. He regularly advises on the legal frameworks for undertaking business in China, appropriate corporate structures, underlying contractual arrangements, regulatory compliance, labour and employment matters, and other legal issues concerning international clients in China.
