The Beijing office, due to open for business in December, will provide clients in the region and internationally with a full corporate legal service, focusing on both inward and outward foreign direct investments.
The office will initially be headed up by Eversheds’ Asia Managing Partner Nick Seddon, however the firm will be looking to recruit senior members of the team in the coming months.
Nick Seddon, Eversheds’ Managing Partner – Asia, said:
“Asia has been a strategic market for us and our clients for many years. The license to practice in Beijing is a big step in our ongoing growth strategy in Asia and we look forward to building on the success of our other offices in the region.”
