Herbert Smith has recently advised Deutsche Bank AG, Hong Kong Branch, J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited, Standard Chartered Securities (Hong Kong) Limited and BOCI Asia Limited, as the joint global coordinators on the approximately HK$2.25 billion (US$290 million) listing on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Rule 144A/Regulation S global offering of Yuanda China Holdings Limited.
Yuanda China Holdings Limited, headquartered in China, is one of the world's largest manufacturers of curtain walls. The Company has completed many landmark projects including the Bird’s Nest stadium and the Water Cube swimming centre for the Beijing Olympics; the Theme Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo site; the Cocoon Tower in Tokyo; and the Executive Towers at Business Bay in Dubai.
The global offering consisted of an aggregate of 1.5 billion offer shares at an offer price of HK$1.50 per share. The Company intends to use the IPO proceeds to expand its production capacity and sales and marketing network; invest in research and development, and repay existing debts.
Corporate partner Gary Lock led the Hong Kong team and was assisted by senior associate Foo Hsiang Ming and associateCarmen Leung. The US team was led by corporate partner Kevin Roy and associates Han Han and Jackie Chen.
