Firm Profile

One of the first five foreign law firms granted a licence in Beijing in 1992, Hogan Lovells Beijing office is now one of the largest of all Beijing-based international law firms. With five partners and over 35 lawyers, we provide our local and international clients with a full service offering in relation to both outbound and inbound transactions.

Independent market surveys regularly highlight our capability, pedigree, and excellent reputation. We are the only international law firm able to assist clients in most major cities in China through our membership of the Sino-Global Legal Alliance (SGLA), a selected group of leading Chinese law firms located in 13 cities across the country. Additionally, Hogan Lovells has an established relationship with many government agencies including the State Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM).

Hogan Lovells Infrastructure and Project Finance practice is one of the largest and most diverse in the world. Our international network of highly experienced lawyers operates in all key markets. We regularly represent financial institutions, project sponsors, investors, contractors, private equity funds, governments and parastatal bodies, international financial institutions, and export credit agencies on some of the world’s largest and most challenging projects in Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and the United States.
