Hogan Lovells has recruited leading energy partner Alex Cull into its global infrastructure, energy, resources and projects group (IERP). This follows the arrivals of IERP partners Alexander Dolgov in Moscow and Joe Kim in Tokyo. He joins today and will also be a member of the firm’s Energy and Natural Resources Group.
Alex has been based in Asia for the past 15 years and will join from the Singapore office of Norton Rose Fulbright. He has a market leading practice focusing on project development, commercial operations, financings and corporate transactions in the oil and gas industry. He works for a wide range of clients along the full length of the petroleum value chain – high profile clients he has advised include BP, Gazprom, PETRONAS, Genting Energy and SK Group.
Commenting on his arrival, Adrian Walker, Global Co-Head of Hogan Lovells Infrastructure, Energy, Resources & Projects practice, said:
“We are delighted to have attracted a partner of Alex’s quality. Oil and gas clients and Asia are a priority for the firm. The recent hires are a key part of our continued investment in the IERP practice, adding to our immensely strong global team, providing on-the ground, local expertise, which will support our clients in delivering major projects that have a significant positive impact on local economies.”
Alex added:
“Hogan Lovells provides the ideal platform to fully support our clients as they exploit the increasing opportunities throughout Asia, and invest into the rest of the world. I’m delighted to be joining a top tier oil and gas practice that is truly collaborative on a global scale”.
