On 13 July 2012, lawyers, support staff and interns from Hogan Lovells visited the Hong Chi Association of Hong Kong's ('Hong Chi") Pinehill No. 3 school.  Hong Chi is a charitable foundation which provides schooling, therapy, sheltered accommodation and supported employment for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Pinehill No.3 is one of the foundation's special schools and provides residential care, education and specialist therapy for children (including some orphans) with multiple and severe intellectual and physical impairments.

After touring the facility and having lunch in the Hong Chi Lodge, where adults with intellectual disabilities receive training to work in the hotels and catering industry, Managing Partner Allan Leung, who is also a member of the School Management Committee of Pinehill No. 3 School, presented the charity with a cheque for HK$30,000.

The visit concluded with a drum jam workshop sponsored by Hogan Lovells in which students, staff and visitors joined together for a noisy and animated afternoon of music and dance.
