Kirkland & Ellis is acting as Hong Kong counsel to Pokka Corporation (Singapore) on its proposed sale of Pokka Corporation (HK) and Pokka Coffee (Macau) to Million Rank Limited, which is 65% owned by Hong Kong-listed Xiao Nan Guo Restaurants Holdings, a Chinese restaurant chain operator, and 35% owned by Ms. Pauline Wong, the managing director of Pokka HK. The parties announced the signing of the share purchase agreement for the proposed sale on 27 November 2014.  The deal is expected to close in January 2015.
