Kirkland & Ellis is representing Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Investment Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise under the direct administration of the Pudong New Area government of Shanghai, in its acquisition of Montage Technology Group Limited, a global fabless provider of analog and mixed-signal semiconductor solutions addressing the home entertainment and cloud computing markets. The transaction was announced on June 11, 2014, and values Montage at approximately USD 693m. The transaction is subject to approval by the shareholders of Montage, and antitrust and other regulatory approvals.

The international team is being led by partners David Zhang and Stephanie Tang.
