Kirkland represented Trina Solar Limited, a Chinese solar energy company, on its concurrent USD 150m Rule 144/Regulation S offering of convertible senior notes due 2019 and USD 96.8m follow-on offering of American depositary shares. Kirkland also advised Trina Solar as a counterparty to zero-strike call options in connection with the convertible senior notes offering.
