Liz Hardwick




Liz is the regional legal counsel for DOF Subsea, in Asia Pacific.  Liz first qualified as a barrister & solicitor and practiced commercial and insurance litigation for a number of years prior to moving to an in-house role.   


As part of DOF Subsea’s corporate division, Liz oversees the legal, insurance and risk management aspects of a diverse range of subsea projects globally. Liz specializes in all areas of contract management including drafting and negotiating various contracts (Charter Parties, JVA, MOU, Contracts, Supplier Subcontracts) as well as handling contractual disputes which arise in the region including Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Brunei and Russia.    Liz is currently in charge of establishing the company’s global insurance program covering the Atlantic (UK, Norway & USA), Asia Pacific & Brasil business units.


In addition to her running a successful Commercial Awareness Program in-house globally for DOF Subsea, Liz also authors and delivers the contracts session for the Subsea Commercial Awareness Course for Subsea Energy Australia.  She is also a member of the Australian Corporate Lawyers Association.

The majority of work is completed in-house.  We only outsource for cross jurisdictional contract disputes, debt collection and corporate work.

Becoming involved at the right stage of a contractual dispute.
