Morrison & Foerster was one of the first international law firms to be licensed in Japan, when we opened our Tokyo office in 1987. Today, the firm is the largest and most diversified international law firm in Japan, and includes the Japan admitted lawyers of the Registered Associated Offices of Ito & Mitomi, who work side-by-side with Morrison & Foerster attorneys.

We have experience in a wide range of intellectual property-related antitrust issues, which complements our top tier intellectual property practice in Japan. One of our key attorneys includes a member who worked with the Japan Fair Trade Commission, and currently provides special insight into Japanese competition law and regulatory issues.
