Rupert Burrows is a partner based in our Tokyo office. Rupert has considerable international experience advising on projects in the oil and gas, electricity and chemicals sectors, with a particular focus on EPC contracts and related issues. Rupert has advised a number of leading Asia-Pacific clients on issues relating to major projects, including Mitsui, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Sumitomo Corporation, Liquid Niugini Gas, and Toyo Engineering. He also has considerable experience of advising Korean companies on their overseas investments, including the likes of SK Corporation. He was ranked as a leading individual in the Projects & Energy chapter of The Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2010 and Chambers Asia 2011.
