The CCS has decided to proceed to a phase 2 review of the proposed merger between the 2 main cruise terminal operators in Singapore. SCCS manages and operates the Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore and SCCPL manages and operates the International Passenger Terminal at Harbourfront Centre. At the end of its pahse 1 review, the CCS was not able to conclude that the merger as planned would not result in a substantial lessening of competition in Singapore.
