Stamford Law is advising Rothschild Global Financial Advisory in the voluntary conditional offer by PRC state-owned conglomerate CITIC Limited (CITIC) and global investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. L.P. (KKR) to acquire all the issued and paid up ordinary shares in the capital of United Envirotech Ltd., a membrane-based water and waste-water treatment and reclamation solution provider. The offer, when made, values United Envirotech at approximately SGD 1.9bn. In addition, the offeror will also make an offer to acquire convertible bonds issued by United Envirotech with outstanding aggregate principal amount of USD44.0m.
