Stephenson Harwood celebrated the opening of its new office this month. Michael Kim, the Managing Partner of the Seoul office commented: “Korea has been a key market for Stephenson Harwood for some time and having an office here enables us to be closer to our clients. I am delighted that we have now launched the office and look forward to working with our old and new clients from our premises in the International Finance Centre.”

His Excellency Mr Scott Wightman CMG, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Korea gave an opening speech which referenced the firm’s relationship with the country: “Stephenson Harwood has a very long history with its Korean clients, having advised many of them since the late 1970s on their key business decisions. Over the years they have developed an excellent knowledge of Korean culture and its professional and social ways of life and I welcome their presence here.”
