Australia – Telstra’s Customer Migration Measures Approved By The ACCC.

10 October, 2013

On 26 September 2013, the ACCC approved three measures by Telstra, relating to customer migration in regions where NBN Co has rolled out its fibre network.

The measures form part of Telstra’s official migration plan, and relate to:

  • the disconnection of copper or HCF networks which have not migrated to the NBN within the switchover period; and
  • the building of copier lines in NBN regions to supply services that cannot, as yet, be provided over the NBN.

The ACCC is responsible for overseeing Telstra’s compliance with these measures, and Telstra’s broader migration policy.

Further information about Telstra’s migration measures is available here.
