IPOS have announced increases to their official fees. We highlight some of the key fee changes below.
Trade Marks
The official fees for:
(i) filing an application to register a trade mark have been increased from S$340 (manual) and S$310 (electronic) to S$374 and S$341 respectively;
(ii) filing a notice of opposition have been increased from S$340 to S$374; and
(iii) filing an application for revocation or a declaration of invalidity have been increased from S$325 to S$357.
Patents
The official fees for requesting a search report, requesting an examination report and for entry into the national phase for the PCT have been increased from S$1,750, S$1,100 and S$160 to S$1,925, S$1,350 and S$200 respectively.
These fee increases come into effect from 1 December 2011.
