ZICOlaw Wins Innovation In Corporate Strategy Award (FT Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyers Awards 2014).

This year, the Financial Times (FT) launched the first Innovative Lawyer Awards in Asia Pacific following their success in Europe and the US. The 2014 FT Asia-Pacific Innovative Lawyer Awards recognizes the most innovative legal work in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, and South Korea. Firms that are doing the most to transform the legal market, the most innovative individuals working in the Asia-Pacific region as well as the in-house legal teams that are adding the most value to business will be recognized.

ZICOlaw was invited to participate and took part in two submissions. The category of Business of law: Corporate Strategy and the Innovative Lawyer category. The categories look at innovative legal solutions that provides the distinct value add services with outstanding business strategies for clients.

ZICOlaw won the Innovation in Corporation Strategy Award for the Asia-Pacific headquartered law firms category. In addition to the award won, ZICOlaw was also shortlisted for the other following awards:

Most Innovative ASEAN Law Firm – For the firm’s overall performance in the report
Most Innovative Lawyer – Mr. Chew Seng Kok, Regional Managing Partner as innovative individual that drove the industry & firm’s innovation
Most Innovative Law Firm – Based on the firm’s ranking in the FT Law 25 index
